As one of the pioneers of electronic music in Greece, R.O.U.D.O.S, has expended his arena and widen his audience since moving to the Netherlands. He has collaborated with, mixed and or remixed for and with some of the top acts in Europe, as well as creating a buzz about his work. At the age of 12 Alex, a.k.a. R.O.U.D.O.S. began studying the piano at 18 he became a D.J. A year later he set up his first studio to produce and joined the group “Universal Trilogy”, the first electronic dance act in Greece. Since then Alex has been a busy man working with many artist and labels. In 2005 three of his songs were included in the compilation Eclectic Dance which was one of the best ever selling dance compilations in Greece. In June 2006 his Guitartronics was released on vinyl to great reviews and his remixes of “Snake” and “Feeling Goes On” by the band Pencilbrain, are said to be in a class all of their own. In October, 2006 Pencilbrain Records has released not one but 4 albums by R.O.U.D.O.S, Wicked City, Imbossable, Pandora Box and Eolos.
His fifth album titled “Electro and Progressive House Music” is available now.
R.O.U.D.O.S breaks down genre and technological boundaries to make music that will unite the people of the world. Classical trained pianist R.O.U.D.O.S has a unique approach to exploring dance music. His compositions are experimental, alternative, and classical at the same time. His mixes are twisted, tweaked and they take you on a cohesively smooth journey that is complete and celebrating.
